wow.. I didn't realise how mad I sounded in the last entry. Haha!
This weekend, a close friend will tie the knot. I can't believe that she is settling down. Knowing her all these years, I have always thought she will end up marrying a non-malay. No offence to the malay guys out there but she is one vibrant lady who knows what she wants and usually gets what she wants. And most of the time, malay guys get intimidated by her. Well, I guess that was in the past. She has mellowed over the years and I guess perspectives and mindsets changed too. She is still the same dynamic lady but I guess it is more subtle now.. Anyway, I am glad she has found someone. A great someone :)
I am a little sad though for one thing. She has helped a lot and had been there for me when it was me getting hitched. She came over to do my 'inai' and sacrificed her entire saturday to be at my wedding. Now that it is her turn, I am 9 months pregnant, and with a one-year old to take care of, I can't see how I can be of any help. But I'll be there.. I promise. I'll make sure I'll hold her up till after your wedding at least.
